Saturday's runner-up, Joel Pearson won the inaugural Blue Lake Cup on Sunday when a field of 73 rode the perimeter road of the Blue Lake on Sunday, in pursuit of a $5,000 prize pool.
Second in the cup was Bendigo rider Shaun McCarthy, with Russell Gill from Norwood next to finish.
Prizemoney totalling $9,000 was distributed on Sunday, when the cup was preceded by a women's event and a Masters race.
The women's race was won by Carly Light from Port Adelaide, while Canberra rider John Forrest claimed the Masters' division for riders between 35 to 50 years of age, and Greg Stewart from Geelong won the Over 50's Masters' event.
